Annnnnd we are back off track. This is the issue with trying to do 30 day challenges whilst working at home and trying to balance mental health, limited socialising and screen burnout. But still, we persevere with the challenge and take a look at what I would be if I lived in the Pokémon world.
So, of all the different types of people in the Pokémon world, what would I be? After taking a look at the list of Trainer Classes on Bulbapedia, I’ve boiled it down to two options. Firstly, a typical Trainer. A generalist and one who can carve out their own path, whether focusing on collecting lots of types of Pokémon, battling with them, becoming the very best that noone ever was. You get the picture.
However, I have always identified slightly with Brock’s cause in the anime. No, not the constant attempts to find a girlfriend. But to raise and breed Pokémon. At least until he changed his mind and wanted to become a Pokémon Doctor. I think ultimately I would probably start out a Trainer, as so many characters do, and then progress into collecting and breeding and caring for Pokémon. Perhaps set a sanctuary up or something, who knows?
And there you have it, my executive non-decision as to what my destiny would be in the Pokémon universe In the next post, we are forced into a Gym Leader position and asked what our specialty would be.
